Archdiocesan Vicars/Parish Services Team Visits St. Edwards

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

On April 16th our parish was visited by one of the Archdiocesan Vicars and a member of the Parish Services Team. This three hour visit involved thirty parish leaders and staff members. Below are the areas explored and the people involved with the three breakout sessions.

Lifestyle and Condition of the Clergy Facilities
Performing Ministerial Duties
Clerics’ Issues and Concerns – Attend study days, deanery meetings, and ongoing formation
Tour of buildings

Report on Administrative Matters
Parish use of Logos and Cornerstone
Is the parish using PASC (Parish Accounting System) or could it benefit from it?
Is the parish involved with GROW or interested in it?
Has the parish been involved in strategic planning?
Parish employment handbook, accurate job descriptions, annual performance reviews? 8. Follow justice in employment?
Are your Archdiocesan safe environment requirements compliant? 10. Check of Sacramental records
Does the parish have a Stewardship Committee?
Is the parish involved with Pace/Prism?
Letter of Representation
Parish Purchasing Program — Do you use it? Are you aware of it?
