Campamento-web2011-008The Theresa Today home is for very poor girls in the Dominican Republic run by Carmelite Nuns. Parishioners plan and deliver an annual camp which includes VBS activities as well as traditional camp and educational activities. This camp is supported by St Edward’s Parish through the Middle School Faith Formation Fundraisers (new this year!), Tithing, and Donations. We bring items that the Sisters have requested. Here are those items. Please bring donations to room 129 by Tuesday, July 7, 6 PM.

Needed: Backpacks appropriate for elementary through high school girls. Sleeveless Undershirts (small kids’ size 6 or 8, 10, 12, S or M), Panties, White girls’ socks for girls from 6 to 18 years old. Bathing Suits, gently used OK (girls 6-12, juniors up to 9).. OTC Medications and Vitamins No soft gel, liquid, or “gummy” form. It all melts in the Caribbean heat! Children’s and adults’ Advil, Tylenol, Aspirin Children’s Multivitamins, Adult Multivitamins, Advil Sinus (adults’), Children’s and adults’ Claritin, Anti-diarrhea medication, Over-the-counter oral antihistamine (Benadryl, others), Calamine lotion, Over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream, Burn Relief Gel, Omega-3 supplements.
