Tony Zosel, from The Sandwich Project Minnesota, spoke to faith formation students in grades 1-8 on November 11th. After his presentation, children in grades 1-5 made cheese and bologna sandwiches, with middle grade students and parents helping and organizing along the way. Together, over 3,550 sandwiches were made for those less fortunate. Everyone had a fabulous time, with students saying, “That was so much fun!” Students almost set a record for the number of sandwiches made! Very special thanks to Cub Foods in the Valley West Shopping Center for storing the boxes of sandwiches in their freezer for pick up the next day.
