A hardworking crew came to Cutting and Kitting night on May 2nd. They arrived with good scissors in hand and ready to make crafting kits! They got the job done in just one hour. It was a diverse group, with five quilters, one sixth grader, seven past travelers, and eighteen generous, industrious women. Everyone was visiting and getting the prep done—it almost felt like “Campamento” right here at St. Ed’s! Please pray that crafting at Campamento 2016 will boost girls’ self-esteem and foster joy in their hearts. Cutting and Kitting Night was a very personal and significant way to support St. Ed’s 15th annual Campamento for very poor girls in the Dominican Republic.
