Global Solidarity Sunday

Global Solidarity Sunday is the weekend of March 25/26 in our archdiocese with the theme: “…I was blind and now I see” (Jn 9:25).

This is an opportunity to reach out in solidarity to our brothers and sisters around the world, letting our light shine for those who still hunger and thirst for God’s mercy, love and healing. On this Sunday, a special collection will be taken for four global priorities of the U.S. Catholic Bishops: Africa, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as humanitarian activities of Catholic Relief Services.

A second collection will take place at the Church of St. Edward.
