On April 5th, our first through fifth graders experienced the “Road to Resurrection”; a multi-sensory journey that allowed kids to travel the path Jesus journeyed in the week leading up to His death and resurrection. Students waved palms at the triumphal entry, tasted the Passover meal, visited Barabbas in his jail cell, heard a Roman soldier’s remorse, and celebrated with Cleopas who met the resurrected Jesus on the Road to Emmaus. This was made possible by a talented group of high school and adult volunteers who brought the Easter story to life. Kids also made artwork depicting these different Holy Week events which will be on display in the Faith Formation hallway.
