Baptism

Who can receive a Catholic Baptism?

Anyone who has not already been baptized can receive the Sacrament of Baptism in the Catholic Church. Baptism leaves an indelible (permanent) mark on the soul and there is no way nor any reason that one could or should be re-baptized. There are no age restrictions for baptism; one cannot be too old or too young to be baptized.

Preparation for Baptism

To have your child celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism at the Church of St. Edward:
Fill out our Baptism Information Form below to begin the process of reserving a date for your child’s Baptism.
Once we receive your information, you will be contacted by a member of our Baptism ministry team.
You will need to attend an online Baptism Class. If you have attended a Baptism Class within the last five years you are not required to attend again.

If you have any questions, please email Donna Rubio or call the Parish Office.
